You getting your "turkey dogs" ready? LOL.. Do people even do that?

A good friend of mine in Mo who passed away could do it. He was also great at owl hooting.Very talented guy ,he died way to young.

Actually they do. It's illegal here but I believe it's practiced in some states still.They use bird dogs to basically scatter the flock then sit tight with the dogand call them back in. I think it's just done in fall turkey hunting.

I can voice call and often do... but it's much easier to control sound when you use a friction or mouth call, especially when you have a chest cold or congestion. Some mornings I just can't get my voice to pitch high enough.
