This will be my first year hunting turkey. I have no idea what to do or where to go. It will be a learning experience for sure. Any recommendations on which WMA's will give me greatest chances of baggin a bird? Live in Jacksonville so looking somewhere within an hour to 1.5 hours. I was thinking Guanna, Bayard Point, and Jennings... Good choices, or are there better?...

Osceola WMA is loaded with birds and it is in NE Florida.

My lease borders Osceola and I can tell you that there are plenty of turkeys around.

Ya, I'll try Osceola, but you don't need a quata permit to hunt there. I am filling out my quota permit application and was looking for advice on the Quata areas.
