Went out to hunt some hogs sunday and watched about thirty hens moving around. they look like their starting to split up.should'nt be to long now.As we were watching the turkeys I saw seven doe cross a creekat about 75 yards. They know when the seasons over.
Im gonna do some small game this weekend on a WMA in N. Fl. They should be starting to gobble now. Especially since it has warmed up some. We are seeing turkeys daily on my lease and they are not gobbling yet, but that is way north
I have not heard any gobbling yet but the hens are feeding right up til dark.My stand must be very close to their roost.
i know exactly where im gonna go for them..
I know where three different dominant tom's have been roosting and where they go after daylight........
I hope they keep their pattern till opening day as I won't be able to scout much at all before the season gets here
