I think I may have some trail cam pic's of the hog I shot with my bow. I checked the cam today and either a new hog moved in or she is back. I will post the pic's later. Out of the 30 something pic's their is only one with 7 pigs in it. 4 young hogs, 1 big boar, the mom of the young ones, and the one I shot. The pic is from last night ( the date and time is off) I just reset it. ❓
I don't see any marks on it from a BH
I shot doe 2 years ago in opening day of archery, blood trailed, never found her. I saw her during gun season and she had a big bald spot on both sides where the arrow went thru
I'm not sure. I shot her quartering away with her head facing to the right. So it would be hard to see the exit wound if this is in fact her. If it isn't a new hog is on the scene.
they are a tough animal, my buddies father in law shot a few the other night with .45 hollow points in his driveway, they said each one of them dropped immediately then about 20 seconds later they got up and tried to run, and were shot some more. he said one crawled away after the second or third shot on its front legs dragging itself to the palmettos. i know i have shot some point black in the head with .45 hollow points and when i came back a few minutes later to pick them up out of the pens, they were up walking around. it wouldn't surprise me if your pig was still on her feet.
