So i finally decided its time to put my wife in a stand alone. I dropped her off at my hog spot. Last night went over the 30/30 to get her familiar with it. So i dropped her off and headed to another spot. I got bored of not seeing anything so i headed to the road i dropped her off on and started to walk the adjacent road. I then heard a loud bang and i get a text. Hog down!!
I was so proud. She did it all by her self! We usually sit together but i decided we need to split up to better our chances for a successful weekend!

That's great! Been married 47 years and ain't had no luck gettin' my wife to hunt. We were ridin' our horses one Sunday afternoon , during a hunting season 40 some years ago, and I killed a cow horn spike standing in a canal. She cried, said "I just don't want to see 'em die :no ." After ones down she has no problem, when she sits in a shooting house with me, she says "I pray that a buck won't come out."
