I know a firefighter that has about 2500 acres in okeechobee hog hunts start at 100 for meat and 250? for trophies I think. If interested shoot me a message and I will give you his information.

Hey ffmsb. Is this something that anyone can do or just a favor? Wasn't trying to be nosey just itching to hunt.

Thanks
Rusty

I have pics of one of the hogs. I got 3 hogs. 2 sows and a boar.

The first sow I shot was the best for eating of the three, they said. The sow had had pigs so we only used the hams as they were the only tender parts and the front part was very skinny. The boar was young and not that big but I am having a skull mount made from that one. The last sow looked good in the binoculars (i shot this one at 200 yards) and was supposed to be the eating hog I would bring back to Miami but when we got closer after the kill the sow was very skinny and looked like it had been in some kind of accident. maybe hit by a car.

All in all a fun and exciting day of hunting. All kills were a single shot to the neck with a 7mm-08 rem. All three dropped at the spot without taking a single step.

Below are som pics of the boar I shot.
