Skunk, they've go three parcels, but the one most guys hog hunt is right by their house, which is located smack in the middle of the Cedar Key Scrub National Wildlife Refuge. They've got thirty acres in the back that's fenced with regular field fence, but there's so many holes in it from hogs rooting it up...not to get out, but to get in. I've seen it with my own eyes, hogs coming in from outside the fenceto get to the corn and once as I was leaving, after a turkey hunt, I had to come to a complete stop on the highway in front of their house to let the forty or so wild hogs cross over from the refuge to run through his fence to get to the corn. Fence, no fence, no matter when you got corn in the feeders; they'll do all sorts of trick to get to that corn!
I Hunted cedar key scrub hard my first season.. Theres a ton of game up there.. NO ONE hunts there. its like a personal lease. But you really gotta know that place. I finally found where the game was all at the last time i was there 2.5 years ago. Gotta go back up and get back there.. If anyone is interested in going up there let me know. Its a 3 hour ride but theres a camp close by and allways a good time!

I killed my first buck near there whan I was 16.I was just curious what kind of operation it was. I usually get 30 hogs a day to my feeder,wonder how much I can get to put someone in my stand?
Need a permit to hunt Cedar Key Scrub? If it's that nice and you don't have to draw a permit and someone else would go...I'd make the drive all the way from Naples.
