Anybody consider crossbow bolt thru the head? That close range, and a old muzzy, and it's all she wrote. I've dropped em right under my stand with a regular compound bow by hittin em in the top of the head. Just have to make sure it's a square shot. A little twitchin, but absolutely no noise, and the broadhead usually ends up on the pass thru side, so you just unscrew the broadhead and remove the arrow. Only good for 1 or 2 shots w/the arrow tho. I DO like supercook's idea of just "stringin em up" inside the trap.

Hog #1 75 or so pound boar. Damn near broke the door right off my trap. The whole door needs to be re welded now. I've trapped hogs three times his size in this trap but this guy was straight up pissed! You can see the dents he put in his head (the line under his eyes) from ramming the door over and over:taz
