I have a new 400 acre lease west of Starke, Florida. The deer and turkey activity seems to be good to excellent, but what I really like is hog hunting. I am sure the surrounding pine forests must have some running around in them. Is there a way or trick to attract more hogs to my little piece of heaven? Your ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,
jtnau

Hogs are great but will camp at your feeders and eat everything. Personally i wish i had one property for hogs and the rest without. They tear everything up and will eat anything you put out to help your deer. I use gallon water bottles 3/4 full of corn, packet of raspberry jello and a part of a packet of yeast shack it and let it sit outside for a couple days. DO NOT PUT THE LID ON. The jugs will blow up. Also dont keep them in the garage cause your wife will kill you.

If you're luck is anything like mine just try to focus on deer and turkeys and hope that the hogs "don't" come and you'll be over run with them. I can't even feed other game due to stinking hogs.

Will the hog eat soy beans? I know we used that in feeders around bears?
