If noone has ever been to Aucilla, I recommend it. It Is one of the most beautiful wma's and a reminder of old Florida
Gonna try Blackwater on the 20th. Keep hearing about hogs there but haven't chased them myself. Any of you gurus got advice on where to start looking?
I did my first hunting in Fl at Aucilla prolly 35 years ago. BAck in the day it was the most coveted place to get a quota permit.Beautiful country up there from the coast to across 98 on the wide open hard woods. It's been over ten years since I've been up that way. I'd imagine these hunts are going to be a cluster #$@^ with all the advertising on the internet,no permits needed,just show up and hunt.
Blackwater shouldn't be any worse than general gun. Besides, there aren't as many knuckleheads willing to chase porkers in the summer heat. Just us knuckleheads...
