Read the regs for any WMA's you want to visit and it will tell you what is open for small game this time of year AND what type of firearm you can use for that area (see other posted discussion in "small game"). There are quite a few ads on Craigslist for hunting hogs up around "the river" in GA, Perry, and I think even Carter's game ranch close to Lake City. Its up to you what you want to pay and how far you want to travel. Good luck!

Wildlife Management Area

It's what's referred to as "public land". Land set aside by the state for camping, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
Go to www.myfwc.com and click on the top link for hunting.
Now find the link that says something about hunting florida's WMA's.
Now the top link is all the WMA's in the state, organized by zone. Choose one to read the appropriate brochure.
