I had let my feeder run dry and not filled it in a good week or so. I just went out there to get it re filled and get my camera back up
After I filled it I hit the test button to make sure it was ok.
About a minute after I tested it, it sounded like an elephant running up behind me.
I turned and looked and here comes a big ole red sow charging in there to get to that corn.
We saw each other at the same time and she hit the brakes at about 20 yards.
I had the rope in my hand as I was still pulling the feeder up. By the time I got my CCW out she moved out of range.
In all honesty I could have probably got in the bushes and waited and she would have come back
This goes to show that they know what a feeder sounds like and they treat it like a dinner bell
Wait till yall see the pictures i am going to put up.
Hog pandemic is the work for this place 😯 😯 😯
