Any Tips on where to start looking for fresh rootin @ Citrus? Hunted chazz alot but never next door.
been google earthin and marking some pond areas adjacent to cypress heads Do ya'll think it's a good place to start?

awww, come on, broadcast it. lol
I've gone out there after work 3 times this week. Checked a different area each time. Where I went tonight had the most potential so far. It was a shallow pond with a lot of trails going thru it and some area that looked like something was bedding down.
A few minutes in I realized my foot was getting wet. CHEAP BOOTS!!! I called it early. I'm fighting a cold as well and it was hard to keep from coughing and I really had to blow my nose.
I saw another truck a couple hundred yards from where I parked and heard a single shot before I left. Hope he got something.
I hate to admit it but I really don't know what I'm doing. I think I just need to keep looking at different areas with different topography until I see something that looks "piggy" and hope for the best.

Im kinda in the same boat. Saw a few in archery in Chazz but couldn't get close for a shot..
