I am confused as to rather a license is required to hunt hogs on private property and I also thought you could hunt them year round (with out any form of license at all). Would some one please explain the law in english (state and private) to me so I don't make any mistakes!
Actually hogs are considered property on who's land they occur on. If it is on public property like a WMA they are considered a game animal and a license and wma stamp are needed. You shouldn't need a license on private property but should have written permission. To be absolutely sure contact the fwc or read the hunting regs.
Either way, a license I think is $12.00 your gonna need one anyway.I'd buy one if I were you and if you find out you don't need it no big deal.
If you are on Someone's land with permission or your Own......
You need nothing to Kill their's or Your Live stock
Did you ever hear of someone getting a License to snap the chickens Neck
Good day
