a bb gun will do the job is shot in the right place.. i personaly like to be aboe to have a backup shot ready in seconds.. a ml wont do that. so i dont use one for hogs.
What? Carry 2 muzzleloaders.I love my .50 omega,it's a forgiving rifle if your shot's not perfect.
I always carry two ML's :rambo
Some of the biggest holes I've ever put in an animal was with a muzzleloader loaded with bullets designed for "High Plains" animals...i.e. Bison. I think they were 400 grains or something absurd. Really rocked your shoulder.
In Indiana, I hunted the top of a 3/4 mile, very steep hill with underground gas lines running up it....I got really sick of the deer running down the hill after being shot and having to drag them back up, so I started shooting huge bullets at them and knocking them down.
