Go figure. I seen a big herd of em on HWY 50 just outside Tosahatchee and also out on 520 on the way back from the Port. I'm thinking watch em and get em with a big cast net (only the little ones of course). No weapon...

Maybe Im a little gullible, but havent done much hog hunting.....can you really catch little ones this way? How big are you talking....Id luv to get a small one or two for the smoker...

Well, the 6 I just caught are all under 15 lbs. One of em can't be more than about 12 lbs. They all been weened, and can put a real hurtin on a pile of corn and feed pellets. But, yes, the cast net works. Just don't plan on using it for fishing afterwards unless you know how to mend the net. None of em got away, but it does take some skill. Now, I just have to wait about 6 months for em to get nice and plump.

I grabbed a pig one time and when it started squealin' a couple of rank sows come out from under a bush and about skinned my bisquits. They weren't very happy.
