yea take the meat and put it on ice.. and leave the cooler tipped up with the water release open.. so the melted water can drip out.. every day tip off the ice for like a week or so.. that will get the gamey tase out if any.. Iluv2hunt sprinkles a little baking soda on top of the ice the first day.. but aftet that it tastes good!>. some people dont that butt tahts what me and my friends mostly do!

what is the meat prep tip again? I don't mind the "gamey" taste but it is definately a taste you can pick out if you've never had it.

well what you do is get a cooler fill it with ice.. tip the cooler on an angle so the water release spout is facing down... then put the meat in it.. Now the ice will start to melt.. as the ice starts to melt the water will flow out of the cooler... this is pretty much washing the gamey taste out.. every morning keep topping off the ice. Never let the meat sit in standing water.. if you check it every morning you might have to put a little ice in it to keep it topped off.. After a week then put the meat in freezer wrap and in your freezer.. when your ready to eat.. just thaw it out.. poke some holes in it and let it sit in a ziplock back with italian salad dressing. Keep it like that for as many days as you want.. the longer the better.. Then put it on the grill and eat!
