Was out in the woods filling feeders/checking cameras. I pulled up to one of our spots and got out of the truck to drop the cable down. Looked down the road and it was full of Mcribs. About 10 of them around 35lbs a piece
I grabbed my trusty over n under and eased down the road to see what was all there. I recognized them as a herd I have had on camera for a while.
Now I am not really one for shooting small hogs, but it's a holiday week, and I can always use an excuse to fire up the smoker. Plus I was thinking of giving one iced down to my new neighbor maybe for brownie points towards a ride in his off shore boat.
I snuck down to about 20 yards and waited for 2 of them to line up and was gonna try to get a 2 for 1. I will be damned if I didn't miss.
Yep I missed at 20 yards, with open sights. But hey, my glasses were fogged up...That's my story and I am sticking to it!!
