Finally broke the spell

Went to the lease last Friday for a long weekend of work/hunt. Saturday morning I got to my stand at 5:30 to try killing a hog and break the 7 month spell of not killing one. Around 7:00 am and without any warning some 20 pigs, big and small, came running from the thick stuff and start going at the corn like crazy. I see a giant hog waiting in the bushes, but decided that it was better to kill a little sow that waiting for the big one to move into range and risk not breaking the spell. One shot to the head with a Remington rifled slug did the job.

The sow weighted at 70 pounds. I also managed to take a picture of some of the smaller hogs.
