OK fellas, just to keep things on the up and up I put the mag plug in the extended mag and now have 4+1 of 3", and 3 1/2", but it will still hold 5+1 of the 2 3/4"s. so if I make sure I don't carry any 2 3/4's I should be good to go, can carry the 5 I want to and none in pants or pack. if for some freakish reason I should need more I'll go back to my car. how many rounds do you guys pack in with you? last season I used slugs and only had 4 and had 3 left, but carried my 45 as a side arm. this year if I'm not using the scope I don't realy need the side arm.
Maybe a head band bandoleer for your extra shells!
Ever been stuck out someplace alone in the woods with no cellphone coverage, hurt and can't get back to truck, and nobody knows where you are? I ALWAYS have at least 6 EXTRA rounds on me just in case. A little extra weight, but worth it if you need em. Since I carry my single six or 32sw, the rounds aren't too much of a big deal.
for signaling I carry a whistle, it's a lot lighter and cheaper to use and people pay more attention to it than gunshots imo.I like the idea of the headband bandolier if it will fit around my hat with the 2 beer cans on it. 5 of those 3 1/2" triballs weigh more than a bud tallboy, which do you think I'm gonna carry.
A bottle of Beam?
