Hey guys, Im thinking about to purchase Moultrie Easy Fill for my hog hunting spot.

But I want some infos about if this feeder would be suitable for my purpose.

It has 3 tripods and those tripods are like only 3-5ft off the ground.

Do you think the pigs will possibly damage this feeder?

Thank you

How far from the bottom of the feeder motor to the ground? If it is less than about 35", and they can get their nose on it, they will destroy it

They will rub the legs like they do trees and big one can bring it down. We don't use the legs we hang em. We find a close by tree or build a hanger out of 4x4 they havnt tore them down. The bears will get them if there in your area.

If you get one and need help putting it up or building a sturdy hanger, let me know. I'd be happy to give you a hand!

If you do put up a tri-pod feeder....Get 3 pieces of 48" rebar from Lowe's or home depot. They cost less than $2/piece. When you set the feeder up, take a hammer and drive them in the ground 2' right next to the feeder legs and the same angle. Then take the big zip ties or duct tape and tape the legs to the rebar. Hogs won't turn it over that way. I had mine set up for a year and had a pack of hogs in there daily rubbing on them and it never budged.
About 6 months into it I had to re tape it, but it never moved an inch
