I hike there off season with my Daughter and we have never seen a live hog. We did find about a 250 lb dead boar with an arror in it's shoulder. :death

yeah i was there for the last archery hunt and shot a 200lber but couldnt fine it but i found my arrow was a clean pass threw and was covered with blood. i looked for three hours for that thing and had no blood trail.

I did a double lung hear shot :hang on a 140lb hog and the damn thing still ran over 70ft into the brush. I could not belive the thing moved an inch after looking at the heart and lungs while I was cleaning it. These bastards are tough that is why I love hunting them :gangsta

but this one was at 12 yards....quartering away....and i got arrow back!
