Make sure you put up plentyof pics. I wouldn't worry to much about being charged,I've shot a bunch with bows and arrows and hav never been charged.Only once,and he charged before I shot it and I don't thinka spear would have stopped that one. He wanted to kill my ass.

I dunno about yall but I wouldn't go hog hunting with just a bow and spear,atleast have a pistol on ya. :2guns
I Wouldn't want to rely on a spear when a 200+ hog is charging you.
