Went and got his head this morning nothing but bones left the buzzards made quick work of him!

I couldn't believe how fast they had it cleaned. Between the 50 or so buzzards and the bugs it was nothing but skin and bone, even the ligaments were gone. The bottom jaw is free and all I had to do was cut about 2 inches of skin and slide it out. Also the shot was perfect I was able to flip him over now that he didn't stink. He was shot quartering towards, and the slug entered low and just in front of his left leg. With no exit wound. I still can't believe there was no blood. Next time I need to be more confident in my shoot. When I shoot and know I was on point I need not second guess myself. Still beating myself up on this one! Live and learn I quess.
