That's exactly what they are! Long snout, small hips, large shoulders. Sounds like one of my old girlfriends......oh wait - that was large hips, small shoulders...

I saw a sow yesterday evening from my stand.
She had with her 7 pigglets that were very young... they still had the stripes on their body
She was going accross a palmetto thicket only 70 yards from my ladder and would have been an easy shot but I didn't have the heart to shoot her.
I waited to see if there were any other hogs coming behind her as they sometime do but there were none.
