Yea, i actually met sr once. he was a cool guy. Same with richard petty.......... awesome guy,,,,,,,,,,, spent a whole night hanging with him in the casino at stardust one time.
As far as carlin,,,,,,,,,,,, he was cool as hell.
The situation was i was in vegas (again) at Ballys, he had a show there for a while and one time as i was walking thru casino, he was running late to his show. he came running thru the casino, trying to get to the room his show was in,, and just ran straight into me. At the time, i was still in shape,,, before my back screwed up,, so even though i am short,,,,,,,, about 5'8, i was probably about 235, 240 pounds, solid, no flab. Well he must have been about 5'4 or so, and a 120. Well you can imagine,,,,,,,, he ran right into me and was knocked on his ass. he was great about it though, he apologized 100 times,,,, said he had to haul ass to the show, he was already late,,,,, had the security guard get me set with vip tix to the next show and took me and the people i was with to dinner,,,,,,,,, just a cool guy.
1) I got to watch an FNG get sucked through an F-14 engine.
2) I cot to see an Iraqi soldier get thrown 30 feet in the air from the impact of a 50BMG bullet.
3) I got to float around the Persian gulf on a big hunk of steel as it got blown up.
That was all before I turned 21, trust me, you dont want me to continue
i got to see rackman dacing an irish jig on my front porch... 🙂
