I went fishing with Dave Moore of the Tampa Bay Bucs,and was pretty good friends with him awhile back.
Pick up the phone and call a buddy in South Africa and arrange to go hunting with him for nothing. All I have to do is get on a plane. He's a fully licensed PH in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Tanzania and the Congo. May not be able to get the glamour game like Bongo , Elephant, Lion etc... for free, but I can take just about any of the plains game I want.
Matter of fact, my zebra rug is starting to look kind of ratty, may just need to make that call and go get a replacement. :cowboy

Where in South Africa?
He lives in Pretoria and his main hunting area in South Africa is over by Thabazimbi and along the South Africa/Botswana border. Lately he's been doing a lot of buffalo and elephant hunting in Mozambique and he has the rights to a little over 2 million acres in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, but there has been a lot of bush war going on and he won't do any actual safaris there until it settles down. He invited me on an exploratory hunt there when it does open. Should be fun. I've done 5 safaris and am always looking for an excuse to go again. :cowboy
