great view and looks nice and cozy, but ive never seen a big buck or smart old doe come into the open like that just young ones that don't know better. may have better luck watching the thicker woods behind the house.

That's what I thought, but last year I had deer all over my plots, Big bucks and all kinds of does. For some reason these deer don't spook like other deer. You can drive down the road and they will come out to see what's going on. These food plots have been planted for 10 years now, the great thing about this set up is I can see both ways on the food plot and see 100 yards behind me and 200 to 300 yards in front. Then there is a big swamp just below my feeder.
