Well,I did it good this time....
I pretty much stayed layed up all week since I hurt it last Friday. Have had basically no range of motion in my ankle, and the pain has been really bad. Just been getting out to do the minimum of what was necessary, rest of time has been spent on the couch.
Yesterday I noticed drastic improvement, but still really hurting. So I made an appointment for this coming week to see an orthopedist.( The Dr I am going to see does the sports medicine for a couple of the Tampa pro teams)
Well today, I get up and it feels pretty good. Me and the boy go run off to Lowe's. Come home and he and I are putzing around outside. I actually did a little yard work. A couple times it got a little sore and stiff so I would go rest for a minute.
Finished up with what I was going to do for the day, went around to put something in the shed, and there it went again...
Ankle rolled under, same popping noise yet this time the pain was 3X worse than originally. Hurt bad enough that I actually puked. I screamed loud enough that my mom heard me inside with her TV wide open. wife wanted to call 911 because my foot was sitting sideways. I couldn't stand that so I popped it back in place.
Finally got inside on the couch. Got it packed in ice. Now instead of it being the size of a grapefruit. its more like a watermelon
I've got a feeling my huntin season may be over..............
