From my deer from last Friday:
12 packs cubed steak
4 packs frying meat
6 packs back strap
2 packs tenderloins
2 rump roasts
1 huge neck roast
24- 1lb packs of burger

From pork I had in the freezer:
25 pounds link Italian sausage
9 pounds pan style Italian sausage

10 pounds country breakfast sausage

Between todays work, the hog I killed a couple weeks back, and stuff from last year I am set for a while on meat

(AT LEAST TILL I SHOOT ANOTHER ONE THIS WEEKEND) 😀 😀 😀

Just guessing and not weighing, I think I got about 40% meat return versus body weight of the deer. And that was w/o deboning the ribs like I usually do.
That is a good rule of thumb for you guys. You should get 40%-50% in meat of the original body weight of your animal.

40% is right on the money for an average!
