I was in Walmart getting a few bags of corn and some odds and ends, since I am leaving way before daylight in the morning.
An older guy in line behind me starts up a conversation. Here is how it went:
Him: Hey do you Eat Bambi?
Me: Yessir. Been known to do so
Him: Last time I ate venison I vomited. It was made in lasagna. When they told me what it was, I puked in my plate.
Me: sorry to hear that.
Him: Yeah that stuff is disgusting. Don't know how anyone can bare to eat that, much less kill it. My killing days were over when I got out of the war
Me: well, venison is the beast meat nature provides. Low fat high protein and all natural.
Him: HA HA HA yeah ok. Whatever you say young man! I get my meat from a meat market. I can afford it
Me: HA HA ok whatever you say sir. Bet you have no idea how animals are treated in slaughter houses do you
Him: well at least some asshole doesn't put a bullet in them.
Me: Well I kill deer, slaughter hogs, raise my own chickens and grow a garden. Sorry I gotta go, I don't have time to argue with an obama voter. Good day sir, and oh by the way, my name is asshole...
The cashier was in tears from laughing so hard....
