You dont realize it now, but the swine flu is the best thing that could happen right now. The liberal press now has something else to hype up besides the ecomonmy. I believe they have made this recesion worse than it is with all there hype. Now they have a new thing to focus their gloom and doom on.

The real "swine flu" is what the democrats have that makes them fill legislation full of PORK! I agree this "pandemic" is just a diversion, and is being used to make approving money for healthcare easier, and to make everyone look to the government for help and salvation. Two weeks from now, when there's only a couple thousand confirmed cases worldwide and less than 100 deaths, the news will move on and we'll be told how great a job the government did in protecting us.

People seem to forget that regular old flu strains that come around every year kill TENS OF THOUSANDS of people here in the USA alone. People dying from flu is nothing new, and the hype over this swine flu is because the last big outbreak of it killed milliions, but that was nearly 100 years ago! Then in 1976, a soldier at Fort Dix died from it, and another scare, similar to the current one, broke out. The govrnment scared everyone into geting vaccines, and the vaccines killed more people than the actual flu, and left many others wiith chronic health problems!
