yeah, dumb ass kid but did you realy expect him to wait for you to come back and kick his azz. should have dealt with it then and there either give him a good talking to or made him wait face down in the dirt with your foot on his neck until your wife called the cops. beating up a neighbors kid that is no longer a threat especialy if his dad is a leo is not gonna work out to good. talk to the neighbor leo and explain to him you almost shot his son cuz he was sneaking around your yard with a toy gun and let him handle it from there. don't think you'll be seeing him back there anymore.things probly worked out about as best as possible for you. but now the little turds know where theres a house they can break into and steal at least one gun. i'd go over your security/locks etc and keep everything of value in a safe for awhile.

Or they know there is a gun owner that lives there who is not afraid to use it, and will tell everyone to steer clear of DXT's house.
I have a little punk across the street from me too. Good parents, sorry kid. Lets just say he knows I carry, and I do not think he will ever mess with me because of that knowledge.

only saying that because it happened to my bro and I. little punks living across the street knew everyones time tables, when they worked, when they went away, knew there were things ( guns ) in the house they wanted and had all the time in the world to get them. even with 2 dogs in the home, thankfully they did not poison them ( had that happen on another break in ). everyone knew it was them even the police, it wasn't their first time and everyone was helpless to do anything without ending up in jail yourself. a big azz safe that they would need dynamite and a tow truck is the best measure I can come up with, short of taking them on a little one way fishing trip.
H.B. they may be little mf's but there not brave enough to break in when they know youre home, they will just wait till youre at work or off on a fishing/hunting trip and then it's game on. my bro and I lost some dam nice guns, and the worst part is we knew who did it, and if anything bad happened to them who do you think the cops would look at first. hardest part was not beating the everloving crap outa them until we got our guns back, but they were probly traded for drugs within an hour or 2.
