Ok i had a 120 gig hard drive since like forever.. i had everything on it.. i think i have everything since like 2001 on it. All my sons growing up pics, baptisms EVERYTHING YOU CAN IMAGINE..
So one day it dont work. Im like DAMIT.. now it was a external HD. So i figure out its the power supply. So i try to get one and you just cant. SO. i let it sit for like a year pissed.. So one day i get mcgyver on it. I open it up and im like .. Wait.. this is just a normal Hd in a fancy light up case.. So i pull it out and im like GREAT. after i mcgyvered it i notced i could just plug it into a regular desktop!.. So my mom has like a barebones dell with every port open. So i go to her house and crack her pc open and plug in my hd. IT DONT WORK.. damit.. well after brainstorming i figure out it just needed a slave jumper.. So i put it in and VIOLA.. all the info there right on the screen!>. so best buy had a sale on like a 350 gig hd for like 79 bucks.. No power supply needed runs off the usb!.. and its like the size of a small cell phone!..
So happy.. got all my music and all my stuff back!!.. Thank god i had my buisness stuff on zips!..

im just as bad as john, not sure about whats under the keys im pressing or whats in the box, just know it works most of the time
