Sinus rinse. Seriously. Suffered BAD my whole life. Antibiotics all the time. Plane travel made it worse. Even was on allergy shots for a few years. All kinds of allergy meds if the season is bad.
In the allergy season rinse 2x a day. I take very little meds and rarely go in anymore.

I'm going thru it myself now. Am 99% sure it's a sinus infection going around. Sinus pressure, post nasal drip, scratchy throat, then into ears/lungs, coughing up some good greenies, watery eyes/running nose aches/pains. when you are hacking up a lung & the ribs hurt like that, ask the doc for a prescription cough syrup with codeine. imo augmentin is a better choice of atb as very few can reach into the sinus's. I nasal douche with ocean spray with colloidal silver at least 1x a day normaly. ( CS from a health food store) 2x a day when sick. drown yourself with hot as you can stand it herbal tea with cloves, lemon, nutmeg, & wildflower honey is supposed to work best on allergies. I make it by the big percolator pot full. If you have broken you nose (who hasn't), have a deviated septum or any sinus blockage, you likely get it often. I used to get it 2x a year for over 20 yrs. Now since the ocean spray & CS it's been almost 2 years. medi pots work good also, & the old gargle with hot salt water & peroxide helps the throat. feel better.
