Can't say more. My home theater system quit working last weekend while I was away. Wouldn't play any DVDs at all. Well, I checked online, and Samsung had an online support chat session, so I thought, "What the heck. Can't hurt."
Well, I went into the experience thinking that it was not going to be any fun. After overcoming the technical difficulties on the support agent's side with giving me the correct instructions, she sent me the latest firmware update along with the instructions for accessing the firmware menu and installing the update via USB. Took less than 5 mins after that plus another 3 mins to run the DVD Lens Cleaner disc to make extra sure it was good. Popped in a DVD, and presto! It works fine. I'm now "THE BEST DAD EVER!"
This has changed my mind about Samsung support. Now, if I could only get support like this for all the other products I've purchased over the years.

Having used to repair cell phones (Samsungs being some of them, I can say that Samsung builds their cell phones significantly better than most of the other manufacturers. LG and Samsung are the only phones I will buy after having gutted bunches of them.

same with my samsung cam they were very helpful and sent me a new one asap.but do not think this one will be traded my dog chewed it,lol.
