A quick for the record, I had one doing the same thing after putting over a thousand rounds a year through it. I boiled the parts in the receiver and thoroughly cleaned them with no luck, come to find out I had worn down the spring in the bolt housing....

Sounds like one for the case and time to invest in a new one if you can. Probably a great gun but I would prefer to keep it all together for sentimental value.

Funny you mention that....because that's how I feel about it too....I have shot this gun for over 40 years and would really prefer to keep it all intact.......I will know more after I check it out further.....been a little busy this time of year....but soon.
