Has anyone started building an ARK yet??? We have had rain every day almost all day here in Ocala. We need it though. Need to see our ponds fill up a little. fishin' :clap
Rain started here in Washington County about 9am. Very light and intermittent. Can use a lot of rain like this without the wind. Maybe it will stall and fill the creeks and ponds like drgn4sr mentioned. What is good for one farm or ranch may not be good for another, as there are still melons in some fields and some of the row crops , soybeans, peanuts, hay, etc... need to be worked. We are thankful for the rain and pray that no losses occur because of the water. Treefarmer
Rain make corn, corn makes whiskey....
I've whined and complained about the drought for 2 years now. Now I will be hunting in waders. I can tell you one thing...the skeeters are as bad as I have EVER seen them at my lease. The first thing you do when you step out of the truck is spray down with skeeter spray..
I'm not far from Ocala. I'm in Summerfield just south of ya and it's been rainin her constantly since yesterday.
