We make a MD20/20 rip off called Mad Dragon. It's really terrible. This company actually doesn't really make anything that I would drink....
I whip up some of my own blends sometimes and they come out pretty decent. But I start with a 7-time distilled grain neutral spirit (193-199 proof) and cut it down to 80 or 100 proof then add flavors.

We skipped school one time back in the day and MD 20/20 was easy to hide in your pants so I drank 2 bottles of the grape and ended up shaved head to toe I mean everywhere covered in purple vomit and dropped off at home. Dad didnt even beat me he just had lots of fencework stall cleaning and pasture mowing for me to do the next day from very early til very late in the heat as my punishment. That picture just brought back real bad memories.
