Every once in a while, one of these news stories hits close to home. Unfortunately, this time it is someone my family and I know. In a nutshell, this little boy was in my sons class all of last year. I saw him literally every day, as well as his deceased mother. He and my son were pretty darn tight, aka best buds at school.
Basically the gals crazy ex-boyfriend went to her house and killed her. Then fled the scene, drove his car into a house and took himself out of the gene pool. The problem is that the child is severely autistic. Not sure if anyone knows a special needs child, but trust me, it takes a tremendous amount of dedication, time, patience, and money to help them thru every day life. I've never asked this, and probably never will again, but if anyone can throw a couple $$ to this fund it would mean the world to this family. At least say a quick prayer tonight for this child This poor little boy never did have a father, now doesn't have a mother thanks to some whack job.....
