Off in the morning to see the doc.. They should remove the drain tubes and we should find out what stage it was in. She has been doing good till today. She has had a low grade fever off and on today. Makes you feel helpless when you can't help your loved one feel better.
Doc told us the left side was clean, Right side he took 15 lymph nodes. All tested clean. He had not gotten the results back on what stage it was in but will have it by her next appointment. They removed half the staples and one of the drain tubes. Next week we go back for the rest of the staples and the other drain tube.
Here is a little update. We had to go to Tampa to make sure the Doc down here was on the right track. We are dealing with HER2/neu+, metaplastic cancer, I will be receiving 6 doses of chemo, 3 weeks apart, then Herceptin for a year, 3 weeks apart. The Doctor in Tampa said 10 years ago this would have been a death sentance, but now a days it is not only treatable it curable. Thank you all for your prayers.
