Instead of New Year's resolutions, I just want to make some early plans to get out and enjoy the outdoors this year. I've got a canoe and a 4x4 truck now, and just about everything needed for camping, so no reason not to get out and enjoy nature. Here's some trips I want to make:
Canoe trips:
- Fish the canals down along Alligator Alley and such for peacock bass and other exotics.
- Crabbing on the Chassowitzka.
- Paddle down the Kissimmee River thru the PUA down to Big O'. Probably a 2 day trip, camping along the way. Also use it as chance to scout the PUA for hunting season.
- Put in at Arcadia and paddle down Peace River to Charlotte Harbor.
Other:
- Visit my younger brother up in Virginia.
- Get down to the Keys for some fishing and relaxing. Never been down there, and as a native Floridian I feel it is something I must do at least once!
- Take one of those overnight trips out of St Pete or Tarpon Springs to the Middle Grounds
- Take a fishing trip of the east coast, down around WPB or Ft Lauderdale. Maybe take a trip over to Bimini.
These are just some that I have a chance of accomplishing if I plan right. If anyone else would like to plan on one of these with me, let's get the ball rolling so it can happen! Also interested in hearing any plans or ideas y'all have for some get-a-ways this year.
That is a very good plan set up you have! I have written up a plan for myself which has started today.

3. Double my customer base in my business
4. Become more involved in politics and try to do more to get these liberals out of office
