I say we load up Kemster(since he likes fixing pipes and stuff) and Micah(plumber) in my boat and go fix this damn thing. I figure in my bay boat if we left now, we could be there by Saturday. Have it plugged up, set the remaining oil on fire, and be home on Sunday...
Seriously though, this thing is nasty. I hope the hell they figure something out soon or it is gonna be bad . They are saying if it hits the loop current, it can be on Florida's east coast in just a few days.
Also it looks like any slim chance we had for future oil drilling off our coast is gone out the window after this disaster. I can just imagine a republican candidate wanting to drill out there now. They would get laughed out of there. Right now the libs are having a field day with it.
Wouldn't surprise me to discover the rig was sabotaged by some leftist enviro-gone-mental group, the same sort of idiots that chase whaling ships in Zodiacs. There are no limits to how low those cowards will stoop to get their way.
