I am not really a religious person. Maybe I should be, I don't know. They always say that God has a master plan for all of us. Sometimes I just don't understand it.
We have rapists and child molesters sitting in jail and out in the streets that do not deserve to be alive nor waste our oxygen. We have terrorists that are born and bred to harm other people.
Yet the good people that don't deserve bad things get them....

A buddy of mine called me last night on the phone. He and his wife have 6 kids. They are poor people but the kids are always well taken care of, fed, clothed and a roof over their head. They are the most well mannered and well behaved bunch of kids you will ever see. He works 6 days a week and picks up side work at night so his wife can be a stay at home mom. That is the way he has always planned it. She has done a wonderful job raising those children.

She has been sick for a few weeks now. What started off like bronchitis, turned into what they thought was pneumonia. When she started throwing up blood they knew it was something much worse...

Turns out she has stage 4 Lymphoma. It is far enough advanced that it is not operable. Chemo or radiation will only prolong the inevitable(she refused both). She and her family do not deserve this.
Eric is not going to be able to be a single father. He is a very good provider, but I don't know how he will be able to handle the daily duties of taking care of 6 kids. I feel helpless because he is iN Tennessee and I am in Fl, and there is nothing I can do for him

Sorry to bore everyone with this somber news on a Monday, but I need to vent

I'm sorry to hear that your friend's family is going through this hard time. My prayers are with him and his family. I am not a religious person , but with all the things that I have seen I have to believe that their is a higher power and there is some kind of plan that we just don't know about. :angel
