finally a new motor is coming today for my 98 150. Its my daily and what i use to load my kills in. bottom end locked up last week. and wife hasnt liked that i put hogs in the back of her tahoe ;). so that means i get to put the motor in my truck next weekend unless i get it done sooner. 18 hr days at work is a killer on time lol. anyone wanna help lmk lol. 4.6 triton time to do this.
You're down in Cape Coral? If you really need a hand, let me know. I've pulled an engine or two in my time, but mostly older stuff back before fuel injection, distributor-less ignitions and computers were the norm. But I know the difference between a torque wrench and a cold beer, and can't stand the thought of someone doing without their hog-hauler!
I know what im doing as well. I used to have a performance shop. Lol but its easier to do with a extra set of hands.
Well my motors arrived last night. Now i gotta decide which combo to use. All aluminum 4.6 bottom end with either a 4.6 4 valve top end 4.6 2 valve top end or a 5.4 top end. Or cast bottom end with all same options. What to do what to do...
