they stole them guns. the friend of my boss is such an idiot.
I missed on a deal like that one time. I was at this auction that this moving company was doing. They had big wooden crates that people would fill and store in their warehouse. Well after a few years, they couldn't contact the owners and they ended up with a few hundred crates to auction.
I was bidding on one that had a rifle barrel sticking out of a box. I got up to around $350 and decided to stop bidding (cause I'm a cheapskate). Well I see the guy that one it at another auction a few months later. He said that there were around 42 hand guns packed in there along with the rifles. Some were military issued guns from the first Iraqi war. I kicked myself again for not bidding it up some more.
My dad got a gun deal similar, years ago. This lady had lost her husband and she asked my dad if he was interested in her late husbands guns. He said he would go look at them. She had about a dozen guns. He asked her how much for everything and she said $400.
Dad bout ripped his dress pants trying to get his wallet out of his pocket.
It was about $4000 in guns and accessories. Not counting all the ammo. I still got every one of them too
OUCH That sucks!!!
I thought i got a steal when this friend of a friend ordered some military rocket launcher and got busted, had to sell about 30 guns and i got a Savage 30-06, Mossberg 12ga., and Winchester 30-30 for $250.
