so my grandpa had to go in the hospital, was there for a week with health issues due to an enlarged prostate. He is now in need of care on a more dedicated level, and that falls to me. unfortunately i doubt i will be able to get to the woods for more than 6 hours at a time including travel. i guess the quotas i put in for are pointless this year, but i am still gonna try n use my ml permit at upper hills in jan. i am praying that the meds work, his prostate shrinks, and maybe i can enjoy a day in the woods at some point. dont know if ya'll care but i dont have anyone to talk about it with. the woods are the only place i can relax. good luck and shoot something good for me.
Hang in their,
Hope he gets better fast .
Seasons come and go and return like clock work.
Family is a gift that when gone all we have are memories.
Trust me I know,
We have been back and forth to New Hampshire and Lakeland Fl for work and my kids realy dont know their Grandparents at all.
You are doing the right thing youel get yours don't worry..
Carma goes a long way.
Sorry to hear about your Grandpa and the woods arn't going anyplace take what time you can. My Dad went through the same thing and the meds worked on him plus the reamer so hope it does the same for your Grandpa.
Hang in there...Lost my mom and Grampa when I was 18. You only get one so make the best of your time and good luck. There's always next year.
Brother, do what you gotta do to take care of family. I have hunted less this year than in any year past due to my moms health. Luckily my sister is full time caregiver, but I still gotta be there at least 1 day a week. We are all here for you, and I can personally sympathize with you. I spent almost 40 days straight sitting in a hospital room or rehab ctr by moms bedside
