President Obama makes a Special Olympics joke - staffer apologizes

There was plenty of talk about the risks of President Obama appearing on the Tonight Show. One simple mistake could dominate the conversation the next morning.
The last thing President Obama needed was a gaffe.
He made one.
Special Olympics
In a lighthearted conversation, President Obama told Jay Leno that he recently bowled a 129 at the White House bowling alley.
“Very good,” Leno said sarcastically.
“It was like Special Olympics or something,” Obama replied.
Realizing the potential magnitude of the mistake, the White House addressed the president’s remark to reporters aboard Air Force One.
“The President made an offhand remark making fun of his own bowling that was in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics,” Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton told reporters. “He thinks that the Special Olympics are a wonderful program that gives an opportunity to shine to people with disabilities from around the world.”
well is see it as it just shows us that hes "normal".. People slip stuff out al the time joking.. Now im not saying it was a good comment either. But it once again shows that he is normal and down to earth.. the rest of the presidents seemed like pre programmed robots.
People screw up but I think the comander and chief should not. This weeak alone he has made several big mistakes. I make mistakes as does everybody else, But I dont have a huge amount of people that are paid to make sure I'm not making mistakes. This just shows me alot about his lack of compitancey. He made promisses he knew he could not keep. He cant find people to fill his cabinet that have paid their taxes. One mistake after anther and ther is no exuse.
By the way how is the money he promised you working out? Has he paid your mortgage yet? Is your life better now? You can keep the change I will struggle to pay my own bills, After all I am the one that creataed them.
Your not going to get one he only cares about keeping union voters. Your buissness and mine dont matter. You have a little under four years to fix your mistake.
