Man. I'm glad I'm not the only one that's seen em. I saw one (or maybe more) at different times coming through the ONF across SR 40 early in the morning. I'm thinkin since they are non-native, aggressive and invasive species, they are fair game.
Well, hellbilly, ya ain't that old. I can remember back when you could walk between Silver Springs and 6-Gun Territory, and when they used to have the "Bear cage" ride there. And I've been over that rt 40 bridge was a rickety POS.
Yep. Them was the days. And I remember them gun shows. Ain't never gonna have nuttin like that around here again. Closest thing we'll get is them horseback shootin shows. I remember back then it was free to get into SS too. You only had to pay if you wanted to ride the glassbottom boats. Last time I was out there was like 2002 for a Randy Travis concert, and the place brought back memories till I walked around. Place has gone downhill bad. And what's with the water slide joint out front? We need places like 6 Gun, and Marco Polo Land, and Circus World back again. Them places were down to earth family based places. Even Cypress Gardens ain't the same anymore. I do wanna get me a couple a them monkeys though. Alive would be good, so I can let a couple go out by Mouse town. All that reserve area, and they'd be a hoot breaking in to Animal Kingdom.
Saint Cloud originally.
