A group of hunters donated 1600 pounds of venison to local homeless shelters. After being told that the homeless could not eat deer meat, the hunters weren't even allowed to get the meat back. The venison was thrown in a dumpster and soaked in bleach

Yall need to read the follow-up to that article. I think it was the governor(maybe mayor, I can't find article now) assured this would never happen again. He was not happy to say the least
Bobby Jindal (Governor) is about as level headed and conservative as they come these days....I'm sure he didn't have anything to do with the decision.
